KNEE PAIN / RUNNERS KNEE

The knee is considered more of a stable joint due to it hinge like a movement. More often, due to restricted movement within the hip or ankle, the knee will try to perform a different type of movement, leading to potential injury. The site of pain on one’s knee can indicate where the pain may be coming from.

Overuse of the knee can lead to:

·         Runners knees
·         Cartilage (meniscus) tears
·         Joint inflammation and swelling
·         Pain walking up and down stairs
·         Pain bending the knee
·         Pain when putting pressure on the knee

Our aim at Kinetic Healthcare, with our specialist Sydney CBD Chiropractors, is to first work out where the knee pain is coming from, whilst reducing your pain as quick as possible. Our techniques range from dry needling, active release technique (A.R.T) and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM). An individualised strengthening program will be tailored specifically to meet your goals to get you back doing what you love, quickly. If your knee is holding you back, our friendly staff will be happy to answer your questions.
